This is great! I mostly use Docs for collaboration but always find the experience jarring. I would always make tweaks like this but I didn’t know it’s so easy to save the changes for all future docs! That’s so awesome!! Thanks for sharing

Even when we were speaking about this last wk, I had no idea your newsletter would make me want to make the change myself. I haven’t used Google Docs much in the past, but now I absolutely am going to update my settings and start sending out docs w pride. 😆 LOVED this one!!

Love the fact that you are applying the principles in existing systems (GSuite) that are likely hard to shift away from or that people are “stuck” with. Then people see what you can do what the old way. How much more with new things like Figma.

This is so great. I did all of this except I used Proxima Nova, which you taught me about too. The only thing I can't get away from is white backgrounds on my text editor. For some reason any other color just feels so distracting and changes the "mood" of what I'm writing, if that makes sense. But thank you, this is great.

"adjust the color of our pure black text" -> Please, no. This often makes it very hard for people with an assortment of vision issues (as simple as again) and on a variety of display devices. Black (#000000) text please. It's something I've heard frequently from readers of my sites.
