This letter is short. The reason is that I’m spending some time with friends, building something.

Before I spent seven years helping my friend build his real estate startup, I worked with him and two other friends.

The four of us would frequently huddle in a co-working space in Minneapolis, MN, working on our own projects. But more importantly, we spent a lot of time working on a few ideas together.

Even though none of those specific ideas turned into anything sustainable, that time together formed an unbreakable bond.

Who knows what becomes of this. But there’s nothing like building with friends.

💸 Personal finance advice that will get you canceled

Buying a home is a bad investment. Not liquid. Seldom beats index funds, and have huge expense ratios. Just because it “beats renting” doesn’t mean it beats all the other possible investments you could make with the same money.
